1.31.13 - Feeling Better

Our little sweetie had a rough night after getting her 2 month shots yesterday. However, she did start feeling better about halfway through the day and was a willing model for her momma. I just love all her adorable expressions and those sweet, sweet eyes.

1.26.13 - First Date Night As Parents

Tonight was the first time we went out to dinner as a family of three and it only made sense to go to Carrabas. During my pregnancy I really wanted their caesar salad but couldn't because they use raw eggs in the dressing. Tonight I was able to enjoy both that and some sangria. Mara did so well and was the center of attention because she is so cute and everyone wants to look at her. We had other pictures but they were somehow lost in the transition from phone to computer. Grrrr...

Her eyes get lighter and more blue every day. I was trying to capture them and pull out the blue in this photo but they are still a little too dark. Still, I love this photo because she looks so cute!

She is really starting to hold on tighter when something is within grasp. This picture of her holding her daddy's thumb melts my heart.

Call me crazy but I think she has already figured out that her kicking causes noises and music. She is so smart!

We tried a new pinterest recipe (baked potato casserole) but it might be a little too spicy for us. I should have known when I used an entire new bottle of Tabasco sauce.

Someone is starting to get quite fussy at night when we try to put her to bed. We have learned that a pacifier can be helpful. This was the first time she really seemed to like it.

I caught one! Baby girl really only smiles when she is falling asleep but smiles when we are awake are just around the corner. I can't wait!!!!

It took her a little while but she loved her chocolate cake! I love that her and Mara are less than a year apart in age. They are going to be such good friends.

1.4.13 - Mara and Selah's First Play Date

These little ones were due less than a week apart. They ended up being about 2 and a half weeks but they are still going to be close friends. Today's play date, their first, consisted of feedings, naps, and dirty diapers. :)

1.1.13 - Good Morning!

Mara and her momma are bright eyed and bushy tailed because we had such a good night! She went at least 4 hours between all of her feedings. I am so proud of my little sweetie!
