TUES - 3.31

"Superman to the rescue!" was shouted over and over again as this girl ran around the house in her cape from grandma all evening!

MON - 3.30

The result of trying one of daddy's creations from his juicer machine this morning. This is a beautiful carrot juice mustache. Mom still isn't a fan of daddy's creations yet...

SUN - 3.29

This is the closest we have gotten to wrestling with our girl. She is usually quite opinionated about what we do (especially if it involves tickling!) but she just loves to jump on her daddy to fly like this.

THURS - 3.26

Bubbles in the bathtub are still some of her favorite things. Tonight we were attempting to make a bubble crown.

WED - 3.25

This was my beautiful view as I drove to work this morning.

TUES - 3.24

Someone was too tired out today to even make it through her story time routine. She fell asleep while daddy was reading to her on the ottoman. Miss M is not one to fall asleep unless she is in her crib so this behavior is quite out of the ordinary for her!

MON - 3.23

Daddy got to try out his new toy today! Mom isn't the biggest fan of the first creation but Dad and Miss M enjoyed it.

SUN - 3.22

We were both happy as could be to visit the butterfly garden today with the Thomas side of the family. Miss M ran around pointing out and chasing many of the butterflies in the very crowded room. She is turning out to be quite the little creature lover!

FRI - 3.20

I officially became that mom that plans cute little holiday crafts for her kids. We had so much fun tonight making bunnies with our neighbor. The girls loved being involved in the process! It may have taken a combination of three adults to get the perfect pink paint footprints but I think they turned out rather adorable!

THURS - 3.19

I received a video while at parent teacher conferences tonight of Mara, who was hiding in the kitchen cupboard (her newest favorite thing to do), poking her head out to say "Hi" to me and to blow me a kiss. It melted my heart! I love my job but being away from my family on these long nights can be hard. This video almost made me cry (pregnancy hormones in action) but it also made me smile all night.

WED - 3.18

Spring is finally in the air! I can't wait to see my beautiful hyacinths in a few weeks! I remember that my sister and I called these flowers "stinky plants" when we were growing up but they are not some of the best smelling flowers (in my opinion). We'll see how Miss M feels about them when they bloom.

MON - 3.16

The weather warmed up enough to melt some of the recent snow. After getting home from work tonight I bundled Miss M up a bit and introduced her to the joy of splashing through puddles! Almost an hour later we were still out there to show daddy how much fun we were having. She was soaked through by the time we were able to convince her to come inside!

SUN - 3.15

Today we were invited to head to the pool at the YMCA with our neighbors. Though the shallow end is supposed to appeal to the little ones, Miss M wouldn't go anywhere near the shooting and splashing water. It took daddy about 45 minutes to convince her that the water was fun but she spent at least an hour in the water swimming around with her devoted daddy. We both think that daddy is the best!

SAT - 3.14

This is what happens when a toddler is quiet and alone in the bathroom for 30 seconds. No matter how many times she was asked to leave the paper alone she still found this activity bundles of fun. I love my frustrating and silly girl!

FRI - 3.13

Daddy is sooooo wrapped around her little finger! This was evident today when daddy hooked up Miss M's favorite warm-weather pastime. Her smile speaks for itself!

THURS - 3.12

The temperature may have dropped quite a bit in the last 24 hours but we still love spending time outside. Miss M enjoyed the walk while hooked into her backpack. We are so thankful for this backpack. It is even more special due to the fact that he purchased it used from a family of a student that I had the honor of teaching and coaching while at Vanguard. Just another reason why I love the school community I work for!

WED - 3.11

Finally we are seeing glimpses of summer. This beautiful and sunny day, that we enjoyed outside, inspired Miss M to sing (at the top of her lungs for all of the neighbors to hear) like Olaf about "Summer!"

TUES - 3.10

I was sent this photo today from daycare of Miss M and her cousin as twins! I wonder how many times this will happen, accidentally or on purpose, over the years. We are so blessed that our little one gets to be with family all day while her parents are at work. Are these two cute or what?!?!

MON - 3.9

Mom was finally able to get her hair in pigtails today. They turned out so cute!! Too bad it took five times longer to force her extra fine hair to cooperate than it took for her hair to fall out. Hopefully mom will get better and faster at this. Dad is a little too scared to try them himself yet.

SUN - 3.8

Showing a little Mama love on Mom's birthday. Love this girl and her many faces!

SAT - 3.7

She just loves the carousel so much! She couldn't have been more excited about the"bunny horsey" that she chose for today's fun.

FRI - 3.6

Miss M loves spending time with her best friend who lives across the street. These two can be heard yelling each other's name whenever they see each other. Tonight, they learned all about gravity and how it helps a slinky travel down the stairs.

THURS - 3.5

Two of Miss M's favorite things: time in the tunnel and her story dog. The smile on her face is priceless and the perfect way to capture the giggles that I was hearing all day!

WED - 3.4

Surprise!!! Another little munchkin is on the way! We are so excited! Our ultrasound this week set a due date of October 8th. So far the symptoms have been the complete opposite of Miss M. With Miss M I craved sweets the entire time, hardly felt sick, and felt good throughout the nine months. Thus far this one had left me sick, tired, craving salty food, and experiencing the constant taste of metal in my mouth. This makes us think it may be a boy but all of that could change. It is early yet and even with all of these symptoms we know it will totally be worth it! Can't hardly wait!!!!

MON - 3.2

I don't know what makes me giggle more...the smile on her face or her foot moving through the picture.

SUN - 3.1

Someone is so proud of the fact that she can keep crayons behind her ears.
