SUN - 5.7

I love that we get to spend some time exploring in the great outdoors as a family. Mara becomes quite the little adventurer when you give her a flashlight (who knew!). This local park is one of our favorites, especially when it is blackberry season.

FRI - 5.5

Fresh raindrops on some hosta leaves by the front door. Daddy has such an artistic eye sometimes.

THURS - 5.4

Mara patiently asks me everyday when I pick them up from daycare if it was popcorn day. She absolutely lives for Popcorn days and Kenna now gets excited as well. Here both girls are happily eating popcorn while sitting in Kenzie's dog bed. Might as well use it, Kenzie doesn't!

WED - 5.3

Don't let the Christmas pajamas fool you, it is May and we are using our feet to roll out the playdoh while sitting on the counter. I am pretty sure that this was their Father's idea...

MON - 5.1

These photos were taken within seconds of each other. Just a small sampling of the range of expressions this little goofball gives us on a daily basis. She is such a gem and I just want to eat her up!

SUN - 4.30

Some pictures demonstrating all of the fun that was had at Grandma Gayle's house while Mom and Dad were up north.

FRI - 4.28

Warmer weather means that it is finally Ice Cream Season! Superscoop is simply the best!

THURS - 4.27

Some last minute fun with our downstairs roommate before she moves out tomorrow. You are going to be missed Kelsey!

WED - 4.26

This is what happens when Mara comes home with a new flying toy and Daddy gets a little too excited to show her exactly how it works. I couldn't help but giggle as I took this photo.  Almost there Daddy!

MON - 4.24

I am so glad that Kenna is starting to develop a love for reading as well! I have a feeling that scenes like this one will become very common in this household.

SAT - 4.22

Eating raspberries outside as we prepare for our first outdoor picnic of the year. I love that these two love being outside as much as I do!

FRI - 4.21

Moments like this (in which the two of them happily share a piece of technology) are going to be missed once these two hit middle school. For now, I will just sit back and enjoy them!

THURS - 4.20

Grandparent's Day 2017
These two silly-birds were a little excited!

TUES - 4.18

Going to school this year has given her so much courage. She is turning into such a brave and adventurous little gem! Fly Mara!

MON - 4.17

Having too much fun playing dress up with some of the neighbor! Poor Flynn!

SAT - 4.15

Finally getting some use out of this water table again! These girls have been asking about it for quite some time now. Happy Girls!

FRI - 4.14

Dying Easter Eggs for the first time this year. Mara was just a little bit excited and needed to check on them constantly.

THURS - 4.13

Little Kenna looking so stylish in her own pair of sunglasses. Let's see how long they last...

WED - 4.12

These two turn into complete goofballs when you give them a sucker. Just look at these cheesy smiles! Love them!

TUES - 4.11

These two have to do everything together! Today this included eating our after daycare snack while siting on our new kid picnic table. I hope these two are always bonded this much!

MON - 4.10

Mara is ready for summer to get here with now that she has her new sunhat. Of course, it just HAD to be pink!

SUN - 4.9

So many smiles and so many great memories made today hunting for Easter eggs at Grandma Gayle and Grandpa Bob's house with cousins and friends today. Grandma way overdid it but our girls loved everything about it!

SAT - 4.8

Having way too much fun with the stickers we got from Uncle Ray and Aunt Debbie!

FRI - 4.7

All three munchkins bird watching out the window.
Makenna, Mara, and Zander

THURS - 4.6

This girl LOVED having peanut butter with her apple slices today. At one point (see top right photo) she was even dancing while she ate it! I had to scrub her face, hands, arms, and anything she touched for quite some time but it was worth it!

WED - 4.5

Just a little extra excitement to add to our morning. These two dogs wandered into our neighbor's yard this morning where Miss Kelsey is currently dog sitting. We were able to coral them onto the porch and post their pictures on Facebook. Turns out their owners are in Florida for Spring Break and the dogs got away from their dog sitter. Within thirty minutes they were back home, safe and sound. Good deed done for the day!

TUES - 4.4

Look at how much these little munchkins have grown! Hanging out with the Bailey family today!
Estella, Colin, Mara, and Makenna

MON - 4.3

Riding the horse at Meijer is so much more fun when you have a sister to do it with!

SUN - 4.2

Impressions 5 is so much fun! We had a blast today exploring and using our imaginations with the Brunners.

SAT - 4.1

Heading out for some authentic Mexican food on this beautiful day!

THURS - 3.30

Cutest little bunnies I have ever seen! Just a couple of girls having some fun at Hobby Lobby as we pick up supplies to a little craft project to do over spring break.

WED - 3.29

Trying on our Easter dresses tonight to see if they would work. One of them was not in the mood and the other can't wait to wear it. Can you guess which is which?

MON - 3.27

Mara got her first haircut today! It took us so long to grow it that I never wanted to cut it, but it was past due. Having never had a haircut before, this girl was a little nervous and thought it might hurt. But she trusted her Mama now has healthy hair!

FRI - 3.24

Check out the new jewelry Mara made with her Daddy tonight! She thought it was the most delicious necklace she has ever had!

THURS - 3.23

Tonight we got to watch Mara sing a few songs with her classmates and then we visited her classroom to see some of the artwork she has been working on. She couldn't wait to get up to sing her songs in front of the large crowd and was sad when it ended because she wanted to keep going! When in her room, both girls loved showing off their balancing skills on this little balance beam.

WED - 3.22

It was pajama and crazy hair day at daycare today. Mara made sure that both girls wore the same pajamas and their hair the same way (with a pony right on the top and a bow). We put both girls on a bench to take a photo and Kenna immediately started saying "Cheese" like she loved having her picture taken. That little stinker!

SUN - 3.19

This Mama got to fly away for a weekend to spend some quality time with her dearest friends!
