THURS - 3.31

Look who is starting to eat solids! It took less than 5 bites for her to figure it out! So far we have learned that apples are her favorite!

WED - 3.30

Even though she loves it and has a great time each Wednesday, we still have to bribe her to get her to go to dance class. I can't wait until parent watch week next month!

TUES - 3.29

I can't believe she is 6 months old already! Where has the time gone? I know it is a cliche but we love her more and more everyday. She brings so much additional joy in to this house and I couldn't image our family without her. We love you Kenna-girl!
Here is a comparison photo of Mara and Kenna, each at 6 months of age. They look more different with each passing month. Call me biased but this Mama can't help but think they are the most beautiful and precious things!

MON - 3.28

I love this smiley stage! Things are definitely starting to settle down a bit with this little monster. The first few months were very difficult for us but we are getting more into a routine and figuring things out. She still gets me up multiple times most nights but she is a much less fussy child during the day which helps all of us to relax. Mama is feeling much more herself now-a-days.

SAT - 3.26

Doc McMara determined that Mama's foot needed some TLC this morning. I am happy to report that she took excellent care of me and I was given a clean bill of health.

FRI - 3.25

The makings of a Daddy's girl (just like her big sis). He really is the most amazing father who loves each of us so much and always takes care of us. We are three very, very lucky girls.

THURS - 3.24

For some reason I can't seem to get enough photos of my girls' smiles after bath time! They both are always so happy and snuggly in their hooded towels!

WED - 3.23

This flashlight was in Mara's Easter basket from Grandma Gayle because they had a glow-in-the-dark Easter egg hunt the other weekend. It is by far her favorite thing to play with at the moment which is driving Kenzie crazy! Our poor puppy...

TUES - 3.22

Mara never liked to snuggle when she was this age but Kenna would love it if we never put her down. It is a little excessive when we have a lot going on but a great reminder to slow down and spend a little extra time just snuggling my girls each night. I am one lucky Mama!

MON - 3.21

Mara's first pair of goggles. Call me silly but I don't really feel like they are going to improve her eyesight...

SAT - 3.19

Family fun celebrating Easter and some winter birthdays. Grandma was in heaven with all of her granddaughters!

FRI - 3.18

Genetics is so amazing! Mara is the spitting image on me and Kenna is just like her daddy! Here is a comparison of Kenna's baby photo with Corey's. They could be twins!

THURS - 3.17

No Saint Patty's Day is complete without a delicious shamrock shake! Mara loves them just as much as I do!

SAT - 3.12

Mara walked a portion of our hike with us today! Partway through we took a break at a little bench and Daddy captured this adorable shot of our beautiful first born! Kenna was awake for much of the hike but then zonked out. We always end the hike at the little playground and Mara showed off her newly acquired pumping skills on the swing. She is a star at it!
Later, Daddy took both girls out in the double stroller for the first time. Kenna doesn't look too pleased in the photo but he reported that they all had a great time!

FRI - 3.11

Daddy was a little delayed getting home tonight so us girls went for yet another walk. This time Emma and Flynn and their Mama Danielle joined us which made the walk so much better!

THURS - 3.10

Mara was very diligent tonight about taking care of her Olafs. She even made sure that each of them had their own little blanket when she put them to bed. She is such a great little caregiver!

TUES - 3.8

Took another  walk tonight since the weather is still crazy warm for March. Makenna rode in the stroller without her carseat for the first time. A whole new world was opened up to her since she is now able to sit out and face everything. She loved every minute of it!

MON - 3.7

Look Mom! No hands! This is how I found her tonight! Such a goofball!

SUN - 3.6

These photos are actually from a few weeks ago but I just realized that I didn't use them. I was just going to delete them but I couldn't bring myself to because they make we smile every time I see them. Had to share this goofy moment with my mini-me!

SAT - 3.5

Just a glimpse into the current "normal" in our house! Total chaos!

THURS - 3.3

It is barely into March and the weather is wonderful! We are trying to be out as much as possible to enjoy it each night. Mara has started to get into riding this bike. Last summer she couldn't quite work out the logistics of being able to peddle but I think she'll have is mastered soon! She is going to love the independence once she does!

WED - 3.2

Today was the first day that Makenna really seemed to enjoy being in her bouncer. She was giggling like crazy and it was the cutest thing but every time that I tried to video record her giggles, she would immediately stop. Such a stinker!
Mara is into everything and anything that makes her feel big just like Mommy and Daddy. Today she thought she was pretty cool in one of Mama's scarves.

TUES - 3.1

We pulled this game out of the cupboard on this snow day and had tons of fun. I swear this girl is going to be just as skilled (lucky) at games as her Mama. I totally got my butt kicked four times in a row before I was any sort of competition for her...and we were playing by all of the rules!
