2.26.13 - Sleep!
All smiles this morning from both Mara and momma because she went 9 hours between feedings last night! By far the longest and just in time for momma to go back to work next week. Let's hope this continues!

Very thankful we bought the warranty on the DSLR camera we bought back in June in preparation for Mara's arrival. Can't wait until we get it back! Until then...

She was quite fussy last night but she went from 10:30-5:30 between feedings. I'll take it! The sleep made her super sweet today!

2.15.13 - Crafty Momma
We haven't been using these white onesies because Mara has little to no hair (just like her momma at this age) and she looks like a boy in them. This week I decided to girl her up by buying some iron on decals from Hobby Lobby. Much better!

2.10.13 - Mara's First Babysitters
Ten years ago today Corey and I started dating so we thought this was a great night to get a babysitter for the first time and venture out without our little sweetheart. We are so thankful to have family members willing to watch over her (literally and figuratively).
2.9.13 - Happy Birthday
These girls swear by these cookies and we made a special stop after brunch and pedicures just for them. I must admit that I enjoyed the pedicure more than the cookies though!
2.7.13 - Mara's First Dress
We have a couple baby showers coming up to go to so we bought a dress today (and a GIANT bow just for fun). I think Mara likes the dress but she definitely isn't a fan of the bow!

It is crazy but these two are always looking the same way with their hands and feet in the same position whenever we lay them down next to each other!

Someone really didn't want her picture taken today! Too bad even her grumpy faces are adorable!!!
2.3.13 - Game Day!
Lately I have been obsessed with actually making the recipes that I pin on Pinterest. Pictured are four of the six recipes attempted on game day. The other two aren't worth mentioning but these four were pretty good. I want to give a big thanks to all of our friends who ventured our way and were willing to be our test subjects for the night!
2.2.13 - Best Friends
Whenever Mara is napping in her crib you can find Kenzie in the room with her, watching out for her. I don't know if Kenzie was extremely pleased about the new addition to our family at first but I think she has accepted her now!
2.1.13 - Winter Wonderland
It feels like it has been snowing forever! Good thing snow is beautiful and brings a smile to my face. However, I must add that receiving a call from my school at 6:00 in the morning informing me that there is a snow day doesn't bring me as much joy when I am still on maternity leave. Happy Snow Day Vanguardians!
