She is measuring in the 31st percentile for her length now! We're catching up!
8.27.13 - Newest Challenge
Daddy caught these images tonight! She is almost there! Maybe we should start thinking about baby proofing the house finally...
8.24.13 - Beach Day
The water was a little too cold for her taste but she loved everything else about being at the beach!
8.22.13 - Too Fast
It is hard to tell in this picture but someone pulled herself from sitting to standing today when on her daddy's lap at lunch. This forced us to have to lower her crib mattress tonight. She is growing up way too fast!
8.21.13 - Starting to Move
She is loving the freedom she has now that she has figured out how to army crawl and role all over the place. We have to keep a very close eye on her! Tonight she once again melted my heart by using her new found ability to move right into my arms! She is my favorite!!!!

I can't believe these balloons have lasted this long! Little Miss M still loves playing with them.

8.12.13 - Adventures in Sewing: Day 4
Today's project was my first dress for Mara. I made it tonight after she was already asleep so I had to guess on many of the measurements. For being my first time sewing clothing, I am rather proud though I am afraid this design is too poofy for such a little peanut. We'll see how it looks on her tomorrow!
8.11.13 - Home Sweet Home
We had a great time visiting with our family in New Jersey and we are so thankful for Mara being such a good sport about being in the car for so long, but we are happy to be home.
8.10.13 - Another Step Forward
She finally figured out how to feed herself! We have been working on it with her for a while and she started doing it herself this weekend. :)
8.9.13 - Meeting Great Grandma Ruth
Today we drove out to New Jersey so that Mara could meet her Great Grandma Ruth for the first time! What a blessing to be able to make the trip out to spend some quality time with her!

8.6.13 - Adventures in Sewing: Day 2
I still need to work the Velcro out but today I made a casserole dish carrier! I just love this fabric.
8.5.13 - Adventures in Sewing: Day 1
I finally had the chance to take the sewing machine that I received for Christmas out of the box today! I was a little unsure what I was doing (see photo with me reading directions and also the photo in which I used YouTube to help me figure out how to thread it) but I am having a great time trying to figure it out. My first project was a camera strap cover like you see in the far right photo. Of course, Miss M wanted to get in n the action! Momma's little helper! More project are planned for the week.

We quickly learned that Mara is not a fan of wearing a life jacket, hence why she is not in any of the pictures.
