This girl has got it made! Watching Doc McStuffins (her favorite) on the projector while eating her breakfast. What more could a girl as for?
TUES - 12.27
We always try to get in to have lunch with Daddy whenever Mom has some time off of school. Also, Arby's has the best toys in our opinion. We are still getting tons of use out of the Uno cards we got earlier in the year and today's box person left both girls grinning from ear-to-ear! Well, that was until Kenna kept ripping the arms out...Big Sis was not a fan.
SUN - 12.25
Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Jesus! The holiday is so much better with children. It is moments like these that remind me how blessed we are. We have so much to be thankful for and so much that we take for granted. Please Lord continue to bless us in this coming year and help us to see you and glorify your name in all that we do!

SAT - 12.24
Santa came to our house to drop off just one present tonight while we were at the Christmas Eve service. Just look at that smile! She has been asking for this movie ever since we started reading this story a few months ago. Santa is good and it is movie time!
FRI - 12.23
She loves being outside in the snow. As soon as she sees us starting to get all of the snow pants and coats out she immediately picks her's up and starts following us around with them. It is like we can't get them on her fast enough! This girl refuses to be left behind! Here she is clapping with excitement! So cute!
THURS - 12.22
Today we again got to watch our little dancer show off her skills. I say this all the time but I truly think she is the most beautiful and sweet thing ever!
TUES - 12.20
This little stinker was such a goofball in the tub tonight. Bath time is her favorite time and were even some of her first words!
SUN - 12.18
Mara and I decided to make Makenna a fleece tie blanket for Christmas so that she could have one just like her big sis. So glad I had a "helper" this morning during nap time (notice the toys!)...
SAT - 12.17
I cannot believe my girls would eat this! Mara helped Daddy pick out a "fish with eyes" while at the store today and then she ate every single piece that her Daddy gave her! Even when the head (with the eyes) was literally inches away. Both girls thought it was delicious making their Daddy so proud!
THURS - 12.15
I'm so jealous that Daddy gets to have all of the school fun. He was able to go on her first field trip with her last month and today he got to be her guest during her class Christmas Party. She LOVED having her Daddy there! Just look at her excitement in the class photo. Her love for life and family is so infectious!
TUES - 12.13
Tonight we got to watch Mara in her first Christmas program. It was put on by her school and I have to admit that she made the cutest little camel ever! Look at those smiles! She was so excited and kept waving to us up in our seats. My heart is full!

More fun times in the snow! Today Daddy took put all of the snow in a giant pile for us to make a slide out of. Look at those pink-nosed smiles!

This is quickly becoming our favorite thing to do on the downhill right next to the house!

You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours! The girls had a blast tonight taking turns pushing each other around on the pink firetruck. I can honestly say that they both enjoyed both parts of the job and were having the best time. Daddy was sure glad to have a break from being the engine!

Mara hard at work on a super secret and super special Christmas present for Grandma Gayle. Shhhhhh...don't tell!

A stolen 'Sisters Only' moment that Mama snuck up on. I love watching the bond between these two grow deeper and deeper each day.
TUES - 12.6
Tonight we also got to test out her new scooter from Grandma Gayle and Grandpa Bob. She was a little nervous on it tonight but I am confident that she will be flying on this thing come summer.
MON - 12.5
Oh the giggles! Aunt Bethany and Uncle Derk gave Mara a fake hamster for her birthday and the girls had so much fun trying the catch the little fella as it ran around the kitchen tonight! Music to our ears!
SUN - 12.4
Today we went bowling for the first time and got to celebrate the birthday girls in the family at the same time! It was the perfect way to spoil these two cuties and have some family fun!
SAT - 12.3
Today we got to spend some quality time decorating Christmas cookies with so many friends at the Thompson's new house. I was the very rookie mother who sent her daughter in the WHITE shirt...
FRI - 12.2
Look at our big girl using a spoon just like her sis! That is, until she decided that it was taking too much time to get her beloved guac into mouth. Another meal time that had to immediately be followed by a bath.
THURS - 12.1
I know many parents have said this in the past, but what is the point of buying toys when kids get more enjoyment out of playing with the box? What an imagination she must have!
